Vinay Sane

As an artist, I am inspired by nature, spirituality, and the emotional depth of human experience. I love colours and I love to express my thoughts and experiences through colours. My work spans impressionist landscapes, pure abstractions, and Sanskrit-inspired text explorations, all unified by vibrant colour and meditative energy.
My paintings are a window into the deepest recesses of my mind. A painting is a vision in my mind's eye. The form that eventually takes shape on the canvas bears a colorful testimony to my passion - a compelling urge to fill the canvas with my emotions and experiences.
My goal for each painting is to capture the beauty of human life and the surrounding nature. I would like my paintings to draw you in and fill your life with love, positivity, awe and optimism every single time you look at it. Life is beautiful!

I am a self-taught artist who loves to work with colors.
A former electrical engineer trained at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, I left a two-decade career in micro electronics to pursue my true calling: painting.
I am greatly influenced by masters from Van Gogh to Sabavala. I use palette knives, flat brushes, edge-smoothening and layer smearing cloths and at times masking fluids.
