Vitalia Mejeraite graduated from the College of Fine Arts in Belarus and the Academy of Arts in Vilnius (Lithuania) in 2007. Vitalija lives and works in France. Even during the course of study at the Academy of Fine Arts Vitalia’s works have been exhibited in the Gallery of the Academy of Fine Arts. Vitalia’s art unites the traditions of Lithuania and Belarus. She paints exclusively from nature. But it does not mean that Vitalia mechanically and chilly reflects real surroundings relying only on professional skills. Her landscapes are deeply individual: the confident lien and vigor confirm that Vitalia works long with the environment chosen for the image, as they say in such cases “passes a material through themselves” and when the process of preparation is completed, safely splash out impressions on a canvas. Each work is exceptional and unique, Her paintings and icons live in different places all over the world.
