Vivian Kalomiri

From an early age I felt a deep connection to the arts. This passion guided me to pursue my studies at the Fine Arts Academy of Rome, where I specialized in scenography, and later at the Leica Academy of Athens, where I completed my photography training in 2000. Since then, photography has been both my profession and my lifelong journey of exploration.

Over the years, I have worked across different fields of photography, while also dedicating myself to creating and exhibiting art photography in various venues. My work is driven by curiosity and experimentation—I enjoy exploring diverse techniques and styles, always searching for new ways to express my vision. People and documentary subjects inspire me the most, as I see photography as a way to tell stories, provoke emotions, and challenge perceptions.

My images often reflect fragments of my personal life, weaving together intimate narratives with broader human experiences. I am particularly drawn to film photography, which allows me to slow down, embrace imperfection, and capture authenticity in its rawest form.
