Vladimir Marlinski

My name is Vladimir Marlinski and I am a neuroscientist. I have dedicated my life to studying how brain controls movement and how it senses our self-motion. I have a diverse academic background and experience in different countries and institutions. My bachelor's and master's degrees in biology I earned at Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. I completed my PhD and DSc in neuroscience at Bogomoletz Institute of Physiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Later on, I had the opportunity to work as a researcher and teacher at Free University Berlin, University of Chicago, Arizona State University, and Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix Arizona. I have published numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals, which can be found on Google Scholar under three different names: Marlinski V., Marlinskii V.V., and Marlinsky V.V.

Many scientists find photography to be a useful and enjoyable complement to their exploration of various natural and urban phenomena. I am one of these amateur photographers.
