Waleria Matelska

In my paintings, I focus on a minimalist form that allows me to easily illustrate observations and provide answers to philosophical and existential questions. My figures rarely show specific people, rather they are collective images. I focus on presenting the spiritual journey that a person undertakes throughout life. I want my paintings to enter into a dialogue with the viewer, so that he or she feels uplifted by reflection resulting from the observation and analysis of my paintings.
