Wasik Sheikh

Wasik Sheikh is an Indian contemporary experimental artist, entrepreneur, and social worker, born and raised in India. His artistic practice is rooted in continuous experimentation and exploration of form, concept, material, and technique, allowing him to develop a distinctive and expressive visual language.
Driven by creativity and social responsibility, he actively uses art as a tool for empowerment and community development. A significant part of his journey includes volunteering with special students, for whom he curated multiple art and craft exhibitions to raise funds for their education and long-term well-being. His dedication to nurturing emerging talent is further reflected in his interest in collecting and promoting artworks by local artists.
Through constant experimentation with mediums and ideas, Wasik Sheikh strives to evoke emotional depth and expressive resonance in his work. His artistic career includes participation in prestigious national and international platforms such as exhibitions organized by the Bombay Art Society, India Art Festival, World Art Dubai, and the Qatar International Art Festival, where his consistent presence has earned him recognition and appreciation within the art community.
