Wendy Campbell

I'm a Southern California-based artist creating abstract landscapes that distill atmosphere, light, and the emotional resonance of the natural world.

Growing up in U.S. National Parks, including Denali in Alaska, shaped my enduring relationship with vast, untouched environments and the sense of presence they evoke. I studied painting and sculpture in Washington, D.C. before spending more than two decades in animation production with studios such as Disney, DreamWorks, Lucasfilm, and Blizzard Entertainment—an experience that refined my approach to composition, mood, and cinematic depth.

My life and travels through Europe, Southeast Asia, and Central America, along with living in Spain and the Czech Republic, continue to inform my palette and the emotions I paint.

My paintings invite viewers into an expansive, contemplative atmosphere where abstraction, memory, and the spiritual qualities of nature and healing subtly converge.
