Weronika Sobecka

Weronika Sobecka (b. 1993) is a visual artist, photographer, and painter. She has been creating since high school, but it was only after several years working in international corporate structures that she decided to fully dedicate herself to art—her earliest passion and natural form of emotional expression.
She studied art history and pursued further studies in photography and drawing in New York, Shanghai, and Warsaw. In 2024, she graduated from the Academy of Photography.
In her artistic practice, she combines analog photography with painting, focusing on emotion, memory, and inner sensitivity. More recently, she has embraced a surreal, fairy-tale aesthetic, creating works filled with symbolism, childlike imagination, and dreamlike narratives. This new direction is a natural evolution of her previous artistic approach, grounded in personal experience and intuitive exploration of the inner world.
She participated in the Pisane drzewem exhibition at the Association of Polish Art Photographers, where she presented a spatial installation using the cyanotype technique. Her works are held in private collections in Poland and abroad. She lives and works in Warsaw.
