Asia Kucherevska is a self-taught artist whose work explores the fragile line between silence and emotion. Faces, gazes, and gestures are her chosen language — a way to speak the unspeakable through color and texture. Her technique blends acrylics, pastels, and spontaneous brushwork, creating portraits that feel both personal and universal.
She began with stained glass, drawn to the way light travels through color. Today, she works primarily on canvas, painting what she calls "emotional stillness" — moments where inner worlds surface without words.
“I don’t paint likeness. I paint how it feels.”
Asia Kucherevska holds a specialist degree in Environmental Engineering. Alongside her scientific education, she has completed additional artistic training in color theory, mosaic composition, and stained glass techniques, gradually shifting her focus toward fine art.
Her work has been exhibited in group shows in Europe, including the World Art Affair in Amsterdam and local exhibitions in Kyiv. Selected pieces are held in private collections internationally.
