Blurry Motion: Seeing Sound Through Sight
As a deaf photographer, I experience the world visually rather than through sound. My project, “Blurry Motion,” reflects this unique perspective—showing what it’s like to perceive sound without hearing it.
Much like how sounds are unclear to me, my photos embrace blur and distortion, replacing noise with visual emotion. This series invites viewers to step into the deaf experience, challenging the way we think about how we see, hear, and feel the world.
Through my work, I hope to inspire a new way of understanding perception—one where sight, rather than sound, tells the story.
