Alice Smith

I have a passion for representing human emotions in ink and lines. Painting for me is a way to channel those feelings that cannot be expressed in any other way, onto an external surface, paper in my case. My style is greatly influenced by my training in Japanese Art at art institutions in Tokyo where I studied traditional techniques in brush and line work. Back where I was born and raised, here in London, my paintings are transforming and growing into a wider, bolder form, from purely figurative to abstract and post-impressionistic. I hope to continue to evolve my style and medium while engaging with a wider audience across the world.
