I paint on actual aircraft and car windows. When deciding on the design, I try to take my inspiration from the object itself. Though we will never know their true history and story, I often wonder what sights have been viewed through the windscreens - both looking in and looking out. I 'reverse paint' which means I usually start with my signature! I paint using air brush, paint brush and even use wooden picks to scratch out finer details. The end result is, I hope, something that is both unusual and unique - an object which has traveled the world perhaps to end up on a living room wall!
