Sandro Wozniak Jacobsen

I am a Brazilian contemporary artist whose work explores the intersection of nature, memory, and materiality. My artistic practice combines painting with sculptural elements, transforming traditional two-dimensional surfaces into textured, immersive compositions.

Inspired by organic forms and the unexpected beauty of natural and reclaimed materials, I incorporate bamboo, bark, branches, natural fibers, recycled objects, and handmade textures into my work. Combined with paints, natural pigments, and modeling compounds, these elements create landscapes and figurative scenes rich in relief, depth, and tactile presence.

Each piece is an invitation to rediscover the sense of wonder found in childhood and the subconscious. Rather than simply depicting an image, I seek to build an atmosphere that encourages viewers to slow down, explore every detail, and experience the artwork beyond the visual.

My goal is to blur the boundaries between painting and sculpture, creating works that seem to extend beyond the canvas and engage the viewer in a physical and emotional dialogue.
