Tom Drake Bennett

Tom Drake Bennett, born in 1952 in Sussex, England, is a painter working in Berlin and Donegal, Ireland. His work explores the interplay of movement, stillness, and psychological landscapes. He studied Fine Art (Painting) at the Berlin University of the Arts (HdK, now UdK) from 1977 to 1984 and was a member of the influential Berlin artist group Old Mole (1978–1988).

He has completed residencies in Ireland, Rome, and Naples, and was Artist-in-Residence at Roaches Point Lighthouse, Cork. In 2020, he received a scholarship from the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Europe. His work is held in private and public collections internationally.
