After living in New York's Soho, Nancy Wyllie is now based in a coastal studio in Rhode Island. Her work is inspired by the coastline in this state as well as travels throughout the Caribbean and Central America. Her paintings and mixed media works reside in numerous public and private collections from Switzerland to Tokyo. The Newcomb Art Museum at Tulane University in New Orleans acquired 'Observatory' in May 2021. The State Darwin Museum in Moscow made 'Moth Vitals' part of their permanent collection in 2017 and her painting "Oceanside' was selected for a recent summer fundraising auction event at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston.
