My paintings are about the atmosphere of place. I try to capture what lies beneath the surface of the seen world, by exploring external and inner worlds.
My current work is inspired by the ocean, the horizon line between sky and sea, and all the possibility that lies between them...
A professional artist for over 20 years, Yaeli Ohana has exhibited in commercial galleries in Sydney, Melbourne and New York. She has held over 12 solo exhibitions, and been represented in New York by Monique Goldstrom, in Melbourne by Axia Modern Art, and in Sydney by Michael Nagy Fine Art and NG Art.
Master of Fine Art in Painting from the Pratt Institute, New York City (2000-2002).
