Yannis Anastasopoulos

Yannis Anastasopoulos is a Greek photographer and graphic designer based in Athens. Self-taught behind the lens since the age of fifteen, he has spent decades moving through the world with a camera — across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas.
For him, each photograph is a breath held in place. A moment of stillness he can still feel around him long after he has moved on.
His work spans travel, street, and fine art photography — drawn to light, silence, the quiet geometry of landscapes, and the emotion that surfaces in everyday life when no one is performing for the camera.
Trained in graphic design at AKTO Art & Design College, his eye is shaped by both disciplines — the precision of a designer, the instinct of someone who stops when others keep walking.
