Yasser Safy Elrahman

I am a professional contemporary fine artist specializing in high-end, three-dimensional paper quilling. Based in the UAE, my work is a meticulous exploration of sculptural narratives, often utilizing "on-edge" techniques with 7mm ,1cm and 1.5 cm paper strips to create depth and shadow.
My artistic philosophy is deeply rooted in ancient history, mythology, and cultural iconography. I draw significant inspiration from Egyptian heritage specifically figures like Nefertari and Nefertiti as well as spiritual and mystical philosophies like Sufism and the I Ching. My brand, Vislos, represents the intersection of vision, flow, and expression. Through my art, I aim to transform a humble medium like paper into intricate, high-relief works that bridge the gap between traditional craft and contemporary fine art.
