Yasha Knecht was born in 1961 in Lausanne, Switzerland, from an early age he was attracted by the graphics. In 1975, he moved to Paris, he studied art in various schools in Paris, Lausanne and San Francisco.
In 1989 he make is "Hallia" to Israel and works in computer graphics and multimedia.
The artist has always been torn between his native homeland, Switzerland and its cultural homeland, Paris. This dilemma is also reflected in its quest for a place in art schools, torn between the Decorative Arts and Fine Arts, among computer art and abstract painting. In brief between the rigors of the computers face the unbridled creativity of abstract art.
