Yelena Over is a fine art photographer whose work emerges from silence, inner states and meaning.
Her images form an inner world that explores the depths of consciousness, feeling, thought and self-perception.
These are not simply visual representations — they are states of being, returning the viewer to themselves through light, form and quietness.
Each work is a touch of the inner world — not an image, but a space where one can pause, feel and remember oneself.
Yelena works in the genre of constructed photography with a particular attention to the ritual nature of the process.
For her, photography is not the recording of a moment but the revealing of a state.
Inspired by the painting of the old masters, she works with light, space and slowness.
Long exposures, optical distortions and physical interaction with materials allow her not to capture a moment but to unveil an inner state.
