York Sandifer

I am a traveling tattooer who has been exclusively on the road for the last 8 years, tattooing from country to country all around the world through many wondrous cultures, places, experiences and close calls. Never forgetting the perpetual crisis of being a broke artist trying to maintain the ability to eat while continually looking for a new job ever few months. I have set a goal to continue this way for a decade to match Odysseus, and these last couple years as I am getting older its certainly becoming more difficult.

I have always have been obsessively compelled to create, so much so that like many artists, I sleep very little. I write daily and experiment with new ideas often, my background is in digital design and film but i have a desire to get my hands dirty while creating art. I really enjoy block printing and mix media like spray paint and watercolor. Recently I have been working in 3d Design and with an entirely new aspect to my artistic endeavors.
