Yoshie Allan is a Japanese-born, UK-based visual artist and illustrator with over 20 years’ experience in commissioned work, including advertising, campaign visuals and murals, picture books, and product artwork.
Her practice brings playfulness and poetry to a wide range of media, from acrylic painting and abstract ink drawing to fabric-based 2D and 3D mixed media, as well as digital illustration and pattern design. Informed by a lifelong fascination with shapes, shadows and natural forms, her work results in visually rich and imaginative outcomes.
Alongside her commissioned practice, she actively shares the joy of creativity through exhibitions and workshops.
