Yvonne Wittebrood

My name is Yvonne Wittebrood.
Drawing and painting are parts of my life.

After the Grammar School I enrolled at the Teachers College and majored in Drawing and Art Craft.

As a teacher I always focussed on humans in all their aspects but also in their relationship to the world. Other cultures, which I met during my travels, form the inspirational source for my creations.

My work is figurative, warm in colour and qua composition enhanced with images from real life. My emotional feelings play herein a vital role.

I paint with acryl paints to which I add other materials such as sand, beads or packing material.

Apart from my own original creations, I also paint portraits on commision. They are the "mirrors of the soul" with an eye for detail.
