Zac Skinner’s art confronts climate change. He has held solo exhibitions with Wave Hill, Bronx NY, Garrison Art Center, NY, RoCA, Nyack, NY, the Ann Felton Multicultural Center, Syracuse NY, and at Matteawan Gallery’s Artist in
Residence Exhibit, Beacon NY. Recent group exhibitions have included the Brownsville Museum of Fine Art, TX, The Haggin Museum, CA, Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art, NY, Spring Break Art Show, NY, Vox Populi Gallery, PA, and CICA Museum, Korea. He recently collaborated on a limited edition fine art press book of poetry and art, confronting ecological change and extinction, titled ‘Atlas Trap’, along with Poet Greg Delanty, and handprinted/published by Traffic Street Press, 2022. Skinner received a MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and BFA from SUNY New Paltz College. He is an Instructor of Painting, Drawing, and 'Eco Arts: Cultivating your inner Eco-Warrior' at Ramapo
College, NJ, and lives and works in Beacon, NY, USA. Skinner was awarded residencies at Jentel Artist Residency Program, Banner, WY; I-Park Artist Residency, East Haddam, CT, and Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts, Ithaca, NY.
