Zak Zanella - Artist

- Los Angeles, California based artist, born July 18th, 1985 in West Los Angeles, California. I am an American and French citizen currently living in Los Angeles with a vibrant pallet and sense of flow and fluidity that likes to have the gazing never stop in my work.
I went to Taft High in Woodland Hills, CA, then started to major in art at Los Angeles Valley College where I had made the deans list and was asked to represent the school in the states arts exhibition. After my time there I went to Santa Barbara City College, where I met and learned from my favorite art teacher, leaving impacts that still ring fresh, Ed Inks, where I also took 3D design as a minor where I got to learn how to do lost castings, making molds, and sculptures and such.
I always thought I’d be the starving artist someday, and I’m proud to say that today I am exactly that. It makes me put every last bit of my mind, body, and soul into my creations.
