Lina Zeidan

Contemporary artist using freedom, passion and will as a driving force in her art. Her paintings are statements of emotion and self expression; using different techniques and mixed media, including a variety of gels, acrylic and gold leaf, in order to take the viewer deeper into her world, like words forming a story.

Lina Zeidan started her artistic journey at Beirut University College in the early 80s, where she graduated with a degree in interior design.
She then went on to work with leading architects in the Middle East as an interior designer.
Following this she moved to Europe & then onto Canada where she developed a special interest in fine art & painting. Her love for painting flourished more and drove her to take different workshops in drawings, paintings and sculpting.
She enrolled in the Alberta college of art to learn more and fulfil her curiosity, this led her to start experimenting in different media and materials, breaking the traditional rules of art to create unusual pieces of art.
