Olga Zhelezova

Currently I live and work in Odessa, a wonderful maritime, picturesque, cosmopolitan city in Ukraine. Since 2010, I have been participating in various collective local and international exhibitions. Creativity for me is constant observation of the beauty of the surrounding world, my frequent motives are images of the states of nature. In a nutshell, the inspiration is man and nature. The goal is to capture rare and fleeting moments, to convey the unique colors and shades that it is rich in. Another significant leitmotif for me is the female image. Beauty, female grace, sensuality, merging with nature, a sense of the moment, romance, which is also more inherent in the female image - all this is currently pushing me to creative research and is a theme in my work. My studies in painting do not yet allow me to dwell on any one style of painting, but Impressionism is closer to me. It seems to me that it is the best suited for conveying the freshness of impressions, emotions, and in order to “catch the moment”. Works are in private collections in Ukraine, Germany, USA.

My path to painting was quite long, I did not come to it right away, I went through experience in various fields. But while working in other jobs, I lacked opportunities for creative realization, inspiration, and my path led me to painting anyway.

One way or another, creativity has been a part of my life since childhood. I was educated as a chemical engineer, and later, when I worked as a laboratory engineer in a printing house, getting the right colors and shades, I again touched the colors, and creativity captured me with renewed vigor. Then I upgraded my skills at an art school. named after Kostandi, painting class of V.F. Tokarev. Then my own path as an artist began.
