"Elizabeth Taylor" Painting

Jonathan Harris is a professional artist who specializes in portraits,
landscapes and design. He focuses on finding a balance between defining
the realism in the subject and the fluidity of letting the colors speak
for themselves.

Jonathan grew up in Burton on Trent, England. He spent his youth drawing
and painting for neighbors, friends and local contests where he won many
awards.

He attended art college in Burton on Trent for 3 years where he studied
and specialized in product design. After that he attended Huddersfield
University for a further 2 years where he received a HND in Industrial
Design.
After school Jonathan spent years exploring his roots; illustration. His
work at the time, mainly portraits of famous people and landscapes of the
town,were featured by local art dealers. He soon found an interest in
tattoo design and spent several years designing and selling tattoo flash,
first locally and then world wide. He designed over 5,000 tattoo designs,
majority of those on a custom basis.
Jonathan moved to San Angelo, Texas after meeting his wife during a trip
to Dallas and spending much time visiting Texas.
Jonathan has spent the past several years working on font design and logo
designs for several companies. Many organizations, businesses,
individuals and large companies have used and use his fonts on a regular
basis including H&M, Macy’s, the Discovery Channel and many record labels
for world famous artists.

He has a successful YouTube channel; (TattooWoo) where he shares his
process and current projects.

Jonathan Harris devotes much of his spare time to painting and enjoys
living in a community which embraces art and artists.
