A project by Ana Dévora. I use imagery from the digital world to create visual metaphors and tell stories that concern the human experience and our relationship with nature and technology. My art projects speak to how we receive and process information through our brain—how we create habits and inspire motivation in a time oversaturated by screens, data, news, and images. I use a variety of mediums and techniques, such as painting, sculpture, video, and photography, that match the storytelling of each project. My work has been exhibited in solo shows and group shows at reputable museums and art exhibition spaces including at the White Box NY (USA-2010), En.Piezas 11. La Casa Encendida, Madrid (E-2011), Museo La Neomudejar, Madrid (E-2016, 2017), Conde Duque Madrid (E-2018) My cinematographic work has also been recognized by renowned film festivals including: The world famous Cannes Film Festival (Short Film Corner, 2011), V Edition The Scientist - International Videoart Festival in Ferrara, Italy (2011), The IVAHM Film Festival (2017), or InShadow Film Festival Lisbon (2017) among others.
