I am a Romanian contemporary artist whose practice explores the invisible territories where memory, light, and consciousness intersect. Working primarily with mixed media on canvas, I create abstract paintings that emerge through a dialogue between intuition and discovery rather than predetermined composition. My work is driven by a simple conviction: painting is not about illustrating the visible world, but about revealing those rare moments when matter unexpectedly organizes itself into meaningful relationships. I think of my practice as collecting the improbable—preserving fragile visual configurations where rhythm, color, transparency, gesture, and light reach a state of inevitable beauty. Each painting evolves through successive layers, allowing chance and intention to coexist. Instead of controlling every outcome, I create the conditions in which unforeseen structures can emerge, then recognize and preserve those fleeting moments before they disappear. My paintings are held in private collections throughout Europe, the United States, Canada, Australia, and Asia. In 2023, I was honored to receive the Painter of the Year award from Singulart (Paris), recognizing the originality and consistency of my artistic vision. For me, every painting is more than an image—it is a living archive of improbable encounters between matter, memory, and imagination, inviting viewers to discover meanings that cannot be expressed through language alone.
