About The Artwork

A proud Aboriginal man, shamed in woman’s dress. During the murder trial, an Aboriginal man relayed how his wife had tracked dingo prints in the sand, and even pointed to imprints where a knitted bundle had been rested by the dingo. His evidence was discounted as he spoke on behalf as his wife, in first person, as is the local custom when relaying tales.
