Birds, Blossoms and Butterflies No. 8, was Inspired by the wonders, sounds and sights of nature. Vintage sheet music is adorned with a vintage bird illustration from John James Audubon's Birds of America, a red blossom and two colorful butterflies. There are also 2 vintage Stamps and three Victorian scrap roses, two red and one yellow. This hand done and one of a kind collage is done on a light weight wooden cradled panel . it is wired and ready to hang and does not require a frame.

Artist statement: Collage lends itself to improvisation, spontaneity and the unexpected discovery. I begin with no final product in mind but put something down and respond to the materials and try to find images that resonate with each other. Sometimes this happens quickly but more often it takes a long time before I complete a collage. I have always been drawn to the surrealistic, the poetic image and the dreamlike.
