Through this analogue collage I comment on the way fashion magazines convey unrealistic beauty expectations and set unachievable standards. Women are heavily influenced by what they see in the magazines’ pages, they become intimidated, insecure, lose confidence and are unable to enjoy life. They are the “victims” of the “ideal” image and become prisoners of their own body.
