Collage: Paper, Fabric, Acrylic, Ballpoint Pen, Watercolor on Cardboard, Other.
This work is quite large on Art Mountboard, its constructed from 100s of paper hands to create the design. Its delicate and fragile work on top of board. It can be posted or box crate.
The work is inspired by people, our identity which is our blueprint, our ID which is marked by our hands, in which we use to touch, connect and hold people. Our hands are our Identity, in which we hold clues to who we are and what we do.
The Artwork is created from hundreds of hand prints, cut from fine papers, tissues, and collated to create a a large 3D piece, which moves and sways slightly.
It was created in the wake of a storm, questioning who we are and what we do and how we achieve it, it marks a passage of friendship, relationships created, binding us together and how were interconnected as humans, as a species and how we live together, not side by side, but how we interact as a group when were connected.
