Linoprint, acrylic paint, pen, spray-paint, collage & masking tape on 300gm Snowdon cartridge paper.

This piece takes inspiration from a small church in Loulé, Portugal that I visited in Summer 2016. It had big, blue patterned walls on either side that drew your eye in towards the central golden wall and altar. This central wall was by far the most lavish but it was the blue side walls and the job they were doing that interested me the most. So I titled this piece 'Call' in reference to this effect of drawing you in. I imagine it in the entrance to somewhere. A call to prayer, pulling you into a restaurant, welcoming you home.

The print is made up of four sheets of paper and is unframed so could be sent packed in a box smaller than the total dimensions. Unfortunately, because of the total dimensions, the box option is not available on this site but perhaps we can discuss further if you are interested in the artwork.

I am a mixed-media artist based in London. My collages explore the boundaries between the man-made and nature, reanimating found materials, shapes and colours, often the by-products of design. New arrangements are constructed by assimilating inherited material and processing with a mechanical mindset. I believe these serendipitous compositions could hold some inherent value which might offer us a fleeting glimpse of our connection with the world.
