About The Artwork
A composition of 64 small drawings, collages, pastels, inks and coloured photocopies of tarot cards (tarot of Marseille). Here the cards are “cut through the middle” in order to “deconstruct” symbolism and to relativize it. Further the composition was set up like drawing cards, playing with free associations and forms.Those works were the base for an oil painting (collection SBK Groningen, the Netherlands). This work has been exhibited for the first time in 2019.
