My “Super-Market” collage series depicts young people hypnotized inside the “temple” of consumerism - the super-market - ceaselessly meandering through its vast aisles. Men and women are enchanted by the colors, smells, sounds, smells and tastes of the products displayed on the shelves. At the same time however, they are struggling to resist the temptations of their environment and are transformed into contemporary “saints”, enduring like “martyrs” the aggressive marketing by various companies.
