ABOUT THE ARTWORK
from the Estate of Mind series, that explores the line between internal and external landscape. Big furniture stores nourish our idea that our home is supposed to mirror our personality. We put a lot of effort in building up a beautiful house. In return we feel comforted, understood and secure by the things around us; they are deputies for our thoughts and feelings in the material world and work as anchors for our memories. This led me to the question if there is an a possibility of direct translation from setting to spiritual constitution that goes beyond the suggestions of furniture shops. If my home was really showing my inner self, how would it look like?
