Free Musician - 1935 - 2020 Collage

This work is a tribute to the great jazz musician Giuseppi Logan who passed away from Covid-19. After releasing 2 astonishing Free Jazz Albums in the 60's, he fell of the map for many years, apparently he was in and out of institutions. It is very hard to get the whole story straight. He turned up again in the 2000s as a street musician in New York. In this artwork, the wind blows through his body as his lungs collapse from his body. too many Free Jazz musicians have died from Covid, as the spent their life searching for their soul, rather than searching for money. Giuseppe sang his song though, a lot of musicians don't get that chance, so we have his music to keep him close to our hearts.
