ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is my joyous adventure with the colour red and my passion for the torn and lacerated effect of ripped posters. Torn from the streets of Milan in the north to Palermo in the South, I have combined the textured effect with the broken shards of information which talk, scream and inform of life in those particular moments in time. This decollage is mounted on cardboard which gives it an added authentic texture which I hope gives the viewer a visual glimpse of the noise, traffic, broken conversations and the energy of the Italian street.
