About The Artwork

Copy | Sample | Remix cycle deals with the topic of copying and repetition in different media. Influenced by the philosophical work of Gilles Deleuze especially in relation to the book "Difference and Repetition". This is done by means of overpainting, copying methods, collages, editing techniques in collaboration in the audio-visual field and other compositions to create a new work of art A sub-aspect of the "Copy|Sample|Remix" cycle emphasizes the importance of geometric basic shapes in art. These shapes, such as circle, square, triangle, and rectangle, form the basis for many artistic compositions and can be used as a visual language to express complex ideas and emotions. The tearing technique is used here to create geometric shapes by ripping the paper into certain forms. This helps to develop new visual languages that would not be possible through traditional painting techniques. Geometry can also be used as a basis for composition, creating visual harmony and order in the work. The use of stickers and other prefabricated materials can also be considered in relation to geometric shapes. By remixing and reinterpreting existing shapes, a new visual language is created that focuses on the basic forms. Gilles Deleuze's theory is also relevant to this sub-aspect, as he supports the idea that artworks should be considered as processes. Artworks that focus on geometric basic shapes can force the viewer to think about their visual language and change their perception of the world.
