This piece is part of the 'Platinum Bonsai' series of the Symmetree Oak project. The Symmetree Oak is an on-going project exploring different facets of a single beautiful oak tree in Kent, England.

Like many of the pieces it comprises of multiple exposures, each overlaid. With each piece I look to recreate moments spent around the tree, often spellbound by the quality of light.

It is mounted on ready to hang 18mm marine plywood and is set with charcoal from the oak tree and tin leaf in resin.
