At first glimpse my collage art is a colourful, conceptual trashy mash up of spectacular copy-cut-and-paste work. Composed out of pieces of my own photos, lyrics, drawings (crayons and markers), tape, plastic, paper, paint, stamps, cloth, stickers and stuff I find around. Some influences: glam(rock), street-art, chocolate, fucked up media, claustrophobia, photography, new wave/post punk, porn, poetry and people. At second sight?
Op het het eerste gezicht zijn mijn collages een kleurrijk concept van vluchtig, spectaculair teken,- knip,- en plakwerk. Ze bestaan uit fragmenten van eigen foto's, stukjes tekst, tekeningen (vetkrijt en stiften), tape, plastic, papier, verf, stempels, stof, stickers en dingen die ik om me heen vind. Een paar invloeden: glam(rock), street-art, chocolade, fucked up media, claustrofobie, fotografie, new wave/postpunk, porno, dichtkunst en mensen. Op het tweede gezicht?!
A première vue, mes collages sont un concept coloré de fugaces et spectaculaires dessins, découpages et collages. Ils se composent de fragments de mes propres photos, mes textes, de dessins (crayonnés et au feutre), papier collant, plastique, papier, tampons, du tissu, autocollants et des éléments que je trouve autour de moi. Quelques influences : glam(rock), street-art, le chocolat, fucked-up media, claustrophobie, photographie, new wave/postpunk, pornographie, la poésie et les gens. Au deuxième regard?
Auf den ersten Blick bestehen meine Collagen aus einem farbigen, konzeptionellen, kitschigen Durcheinander von spektakulären ausgeschnittenen und zusammengefügten Teilen. Komponiert sind sie aus meinen eigenen Fotos, Texten, Zeichnungen (Bunt- und Filzstift), Klebebändern, Plastikteilen, Papier, Malereien, Stempel, Stoffen, Stickern und Dingen, die ich gefunden habe. Einflüsse hierbei: Glam(rock), Street-art, Schokolade, fucked up-Media, Klaustrophobie, Fotografie, New Wave/Post Punk, Pornografie, Poesie und Menschen. Und auf den zweiten Blick?
A prima vista i miei collages sembrano il colorato e concettuale risultato kitsch di un copia e incolla. Essi si compongono di frammenti di miei scatti, testi musicali, disegni (a matita e pennarello), adesivi, plastica, carta, tela, stoffa e tutto ciò che mi circonda ogni giorno. Le influenze: glam (rock), street-art, cioccolato, tv spazzatura, claustrofobia, fotografia, new wave/post punk, pornografia, poesia e la gente.
