When experimenting with Portland cement, silver dust and silver metallic acrylic paint for jewelry, I made the discovery that I could create shapes and textures that resembled rocks. Rocks that looked like they might have come from the moon. After layers and layers of silver paint, silver dust and salt crystals were in place on the recycled acrylic paneling and the moon rocks were added it became MOON RIVER l & ll. This is a double sided piece with side ll complimenting and using the same materials but no rocks, only the river. It can be hung vertically or horizontally on both sides giving four different options and experiences of the piece. Hardware will be included for hanging it will be oriented vertically when it arrives, but I will include extra fishing line for hanging if you choose to change the orientation. My name will be I'm embossed on a silver charm hanging on the back in keeping with the natural feeling of the collage.
