About The Artwork
This piece was inspired by the first Moon Landing and asks the question "Why wasn't it a woman"? In March, 2019, NPR, reported "NASA Scraps First All-Female Spacewalk For Want Of A Medium-Size Spacesuit". That struck me as sad, so I rewrote history in this collage using women.
