Contemporary abstract painting collage by artist Doron Noyman entitled "My Cat." Two joined canvases depict the night coming into the city as someone searches for something they have lost, something important. Includes an original poem: Lost my cat, the night is coming, can hear the crows afar, with darkness falling on the city, I'm looking all around, the quiet comes and so the shadows, my cat is not too far, the streets are getting very narrow, my cat, I see you now." Everyone has their own "cat." The search for meaning is scary and confusing at times, but that does not mean it should be given up. Sometimes what you want is right in front of you and if you keep on going you will find it, it's not too far. Acrylic, oil and paper on two joined canvases.
