About The Artwork
Original hand cut collage made from candy wrappers. Assembled on paper with acid free/archival mounting tape and glue. Collage will be signed and dated (year) on back. Can be displayed as a square or diamond- sides measure 48 inches, and 68 inches corner to corner. This piece brings feelings of nostalgia- trading halloween candy at the dinner table and picking out that one favorite from the grocery store candy isle, but it also addresses how our idea of sugar as a society has changed- from the sweetener made by bees used hundreds of years ago to today’s colorfully packaged mass produced candy.
