Pınar Soytürk (b. 1986, Balıkesir, Türkiye) Pınar Soytürk graduated from Anadolu University with a degree in English Language Teaching and has carried her lifelong passion for art into her professional journey. In 2017, she attended Monart Art Studio in İzmir for Fine Arts preparation courses and has been working there as a painting instructor since 2019. In 2023, she taught Drawing at Ege University’s Visual Communication Design Department and held her first solo exhibition there. In 2024, she began her master’s degree in Art Education at Dokuz Eylül University, combining her academic research with her artistic practice. Soytürk’s works explore the connections between the female body, nature and human anatomy, blending them with themes of eroticism, transformation and boundaries. She merges organic forms with text and texture to bring social critique onto the canvas. Embracing diverse materials and experimental techniques, she depicts the body as both a space of existence and resistance. Living and creating in İzmir, she actively participates in group exhibitions and collaborative art projects, sharing her transforming body narratives with new audiences in every exhibition.
