Urban Spaces is a series of collages that explores shape and colour. It is a minimalist and synthetic style that presents compositions in a space framed within a wooden box that can be easily hung on the wall or placed on the floor. They are compositions based on 300 gr color cardboard. mounted on cardboard and glued on wood. The dimension of the work is 70 x 100 cm and with the wooden box, which has the function of a container and hanging support, it measures 76 x 106 x 3 cm. They are signed and will be delivered with a certificate of authenticity.

Annabel Andrews was born in the Isle of Wight in 1940 now lives and works in El Escorial near Madrid Spain, where the colour, light and volumes of the mountains inspire her work. As also her friendship with the late Spanish artists Pablo Palazuelo and Jose Guerrero. By preparing her own canvases with home made casein glue base and zinc white the work is light and luminous ready for applying acrylic colours.
