Vase with Flowers: 27.55x19.78x0.2in (70x50cm), Mosaic of carpet and felts pieces glued on wood. Needs a frame to be hanged on the wall. The technique used to make this artwork is an unique variant of mosaic: each "tile" is a small piece of different carpets or felts, each precisely hand cut to catch the right texture and shade of color necessary to form the image. The "tiles" were glued to a wood back panel and the gaps between the "tiles" were filled using a mix of carpets powder. An unique feature of this kind of artworks is the pleasant and unusual warm feeling you may have touching the image. Original artwork signed and dated on the back. All of my works come with a certificate of autenticity signed by me.

Lada Stukan was born on 17/05/1971 in Simferopoli (Crimea); since when she was a child she always liked to draw and paint. Art has always been inside her inspiring to create her perception of the world and growing up painting was always her greatest joy and most important interest. In 2009 she moved to Italy where she lives, works and of course paints. From 2009 to 2019 she worked in Italy and in Switzerland in a different sector but she didn’t stop painting although she had few time for that and to participate to exhibitions or publish her works online or in galleries. In 2020, she decided to give more time to her passion for painting and published her artworks on “Saatchi Art” web-site, on Facebook and on Instagram and she participates again to exhibitions and events. Painting for Lada is a full immersion experience which is every time giving her different emotions but always joy and free breath. To create her works, she uses different techniques (e.g. oil, aquerelle, acrylic, pencil, gouache and ink) and media (e.g. canvas, paper, cardboard, wood...); sometimes she use a mix of them to better express what she feel and want to communicate. She also I like to try new techniques and materials.
